This 10 inch (25cm) subwoofer from Mac Audio is engineered to give great performance and a long life span. The extremely rigid, specially coated aluminium cone prevents sound-distorting partial oscillations, while the powerful dual magnet ensures plenty of low-end drive. Its solid steel basket and gigantic voice coil guarantees great physical stability and high power handling. The silver push-fit terminals accept large gauge speaker cable. Suitable for either sealed or ported boxes. Use a sealed box for a more controlled, natural bass sound (good for rock, jazz, classical). Use a ported box to emphasise the bass (good for dance music). Recommended box sizes: 3/4 cu.ft sealed, or 1 cu.ft ported (3 diameter port, 10 long). |
